Bent iPhone 6, Aluminum Frame Bending at the Top – Has Apple gone too thin with their iPhone 6? Some users are reporting that their iPhone 6 is bending at the top near the volume buttons. Several pictures have been released through social media showing the exact same problem occurring among many different phones.
The iPhone 5s and 5, along with the iPod touch have had similar issues with bending in the past.
The issue was brought to light on MacRumors after many users were complaining about it.
So far Apple has given no comment on this subject. If it keeps getting this much attention on the web they’ll probably release a statement.
As expected, Apple has responded to the online buzz about the iPhone 6 bending. According to them, with normal use the iPhone 6 will not bend. Apple claims that only 9 users have so far complained about the problem. They are saying the iPhone 6 uses the strongest glass available on smartphones, a stainless steel structure, and titanium reinforcement inserts.
