2 Police officers wounded, 3 kids released in Harvey, Illinois Hostage Situation

Harvey Hostage Crisis: 3 Kids Released, 2 Cops Shot – According to a city spokesperson 3 of the 5 children who were taken hostage in Harvey, a Chicago Suburb, have been released.Two kids and an adult female are still being held hostage by the home.

2 cops have been wounded in the conflict, but so far nobody has been killed. The first officer was shot when responding to a “Burglary in Progress” 911 call.

The suspects initially took 6 hostages, 1 adult female and 5 kids. Officers are currently in contact with at least of of the suspects.

Rosa Parks Middle School was on lockdown for a  short time and 147th St has been blocked off west of Robey.
