Lexus creates a functional magnetic hoverboard prototype
Lexus has created a real life, fully functional hover board. The Lexus website explains that the board uses superconductors and magnets cooled by liquid nitrogen.
Toyota has been putting a lot of development into this technology, specifically with the high speed magnetic levitation trains they’ve created in Japan. They have also hinted at making flying cars one day. The car would fly just above the ground, as does this hover board, so it wouldn’t have any resistance from the ground like modern-day cars do.
