Macaulay Culkin death hoax – Is Macaulay Culkin dead?
A recent internet death hoax claims the Home Alone actor Macaulay Culkin was found dead in his Manhattan apartment from a possible heroin overdose. The actor has struggled with heroin problems in the past, making the story believable, but he is not actually dead.
A fake report on the site MSNBC.website (which isn’t actually an MSNBC site) has spread like fire across the internet with thousands of shares on social media.
The story claims that there were multiple unconfirmed reports he was found dead after police were requested by family members to visit his residence. It also detailed that a neighbor confirmed it was the actor’s apartment.
The same thing happened to Macaulay Culkin back in April; he’s probably pretty tired of it. At least it brings him more publicity though! Maybe we’ll see him in another movie or two soon.
Many people have posted their concerns and condolences to Culkin on Twitter:
