Ray Rice has won his appeal to the indefinite suspension he received from the NFL after a domestic incident in which he punched his wife and dragged her unconscious body out of an elevator.
The former Ravens running back is now eligible to be picked up by any team, but many believe Rice will have great difficulty finding a team who will take him. There is talk that the Colts may have a use for him.
In a public statement Rice showed remorse for his actions and appreciation to everyone involved:
“I made an inexcusable mistake and accept full responsibility for my actions. I am thankful that there was a proper appeals process in place to address this issue. I will continue working hard to improve myself and be the best husband, father and friend, while giving back to my community and helping others to learn from my mistakes.”
