While the Kansas City Royals are getting ready to play the San Francisco Giants in the World Series, many radio stations throughout the city of San Francisco have agreed to do their part and ban the song “Royals” by Lorde in an attempt to censor the Royals‘ team name out of existence for the time being.
“@eastcountytoday: Kudos to @965KOIT for banning #Royals until after #WorldSeries #Lorde Good move! #BeatKC #OrangeOctober #SFgiants” — 96.5 koit (@965KOIT) October 20, 2014
