The New Samsung Galaxy Alpha Smartphone is ready to compete with the iPhone 6
Samsung Quietly Releases Galaxy Alpha Smartphone
Samsung Galaxy Alpha – Samsung has queitly released it’s new Galaxy Alpha Smartphone, this time without all the pun filled commercials and celebrity endorsements.
The new phone’s design features sleek metal edges while the rear panel remains plastic to reduce weight.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha may have been an attempt by Samsung to reach the sector of Apple users who love Apple’s metal casing and weren’t quite sold on having a larger phone yet.
The Galaxy Alpha features a 4.7 inch HD (1,280X720) SuperAMOLED display, which is exactly the size the iPhone 6 is rumored to use. The new Galaxy also includes an octa-core processor (quad 1.8GHz and quad 1.3GHz).
Most features on the Galaxy Alpha are also available on the Galaxy S5, such as the Ultra Power Saving Mode, home button fingerprint sensor, and a download booster that combines Wi-Fi and LTE connections for quick file transfers.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha’s rear facing 12-megapixel camera can shoot 4K video at 30 FPS (probably not for very long with today’s ridiculously small storage capacities). The new gadget will come in Scuba Blue, Sleek Silver, Frosted Gold, Dazzling White, and Charcoal Black.
