What could go wrong on a roller coaster like this?

24 Stuck on Six Flags Ride – Prince George’s County Fire Department reported a group of 24 people who were stuck on a roller coaster called Jorker’s Jinx at Six Flags in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. The roller coaster riders were suspended about 45 feet above the ground when the roller coaster stopped on it’s track, upright, near the top of the ride.

None of the 24 people sustained any injuries. There were 17 adults and 7 (very brave) children on the ride.

It is unclear what caused the ride to stop, but the roller coaster safety system was successfully able to prevent any injuries from occurring.
