Baby Gorilla born at Melbourne Zoo!

A Very Important Primate arrived at Melbourne Zoo last night when Gorilla Kimya delivered her firstborn at about 6:05 pm in the night dens. Primates Supervisor Harna managed to capture the birth on her camera! The birth happened naturally with no assistance needed from our Vets and Kimya is proving to be a perfect gorilla mum!
