Teen Arrested for Instagram Posts – 15 Year Old Threatens to Kill Students At Santa Clarita
Teen Arrested for Instagram Posts – After threatening to kill students in the Santa Clarita Valley on his Instagram account, police served a search warrant and arrested the 15 year old responsible for the posts. The boy’s name has not been released.
Some of the posts said things like “Valencia High School has been nominated to be shot up first” and “We are aiming our guns mostly at high school students .. blood will be shed and families will suffer”. Some of the posts included pictures of dead bodies, weapons, and even a school marquee for “Valencia High School,” though it was a Valencia High located in a different state.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received many phone calls from concerned people and quickly initiated an investigation into the social media threats.
The posts were promptly deleted from the Instagram page. The threats were directed towards minorities and women according to authorities.
