Birmingham UPS Facility Shooting: 3 Dead Including Shooter – A UPS worker who was recently terminated from his job attacked the Birmingham UPS facility he was previously employed at on Tuesday, killing two of his co-workers and then himself. The incident occurred just before 9:30 a.m. at the Inglenook UPS building near the airport.
So far it is believed the 45 year old father used a handgun in the shooting. The motive for the crime is currently unclear.

The names of the shooter and the victims have not yet been released; authorities must first inform their families.
Birmingham Police Chief A.C. Roper told reporters:
“We had people die today who didn’t deserve it. When these people came to work today, they had no idea that this would be their last day here on Earth. They were just people working at their jobs.”
